In Hindu tradition yoga poses, or "asanas", are believed to help stimulate different physical processes in the body and to build spiritual wellness.

Try the "chair" yoga pose, or "Utkatasana", which is known to strengthen the core, leg muscles, and heart function, and is also believed to stimulate the Svadhisthana chakra below the navel, creating a sense of ease and enjoyment.

To do it, start in a standing position, and then sink yourself into a sitting position, pushing your hips back and your chest forward. Raise your arms so that they are above your head, in line with your ears, and hold.
