Apuleius' prayer reminds us to strive for the divine within. Recite it with reverence and humility:

"O blessed queen of heaven...thou who illumines all the cities of earth with your feminine light, thou who nourishes all the seeds of the world with your damp heat, giving your changing light according to the wanderings, near or far, of the sun: by whatever name or form it is right to call upon you, I pray that you end my great labor and misery, raise up my fallen hopes, and deliver me from the wretched fortune which for long has pursued me. Grant peace and rest, if so it please you, to my adversities..."
