Stoic Virtue
Use Stoic and Hellenic teachings to stay strong, wise, and calm, learning to control what you can, accept what you can’t, and always act with honor.
In Stoic and Hellenic tradition, vegetarian diets were seen as promoting purity and thus physical and spiritual purification or catharsis (κάθαρσις).
And a vegetarian diet was seen as a form of asceticism or "askesis" (ἄσκησις), or a habit that becomes a specific way of life.
Of course, make sure you consult your physician before beginning any new diet routine to ensure that it is suitable for you.
