Calf stretch
Treat your body like a temple
Eastern Orthodox
A deep, ancient form of Christianity with sacred traditions, icons, and prayers that bring people closer to God and their spiritual community.
The Bible encourages doing healthy physical activities, saying in 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 that you should treat your body like a temple and "honor God with your bodies".
To do this activity, step one foot forward and one foot back, keeping your back heel on the ground and lean forward with your front leg bent to stretch your calf muscle. Hold for 10 to 30 seconds and switch legs.
Even a simple physical activity like this one can be a spiritual act of faith if it is done with intention.
