Contemplation of the Sins meditation
Build a dialogue with God

"Contemplation of the Sins" meditation involves thinking about any and all sins that you may have committed as a way to eventually build a path to communicating with and unifying with God.
Human sin is believed to be an easy starting point for developing an active dialogue with God. A being as infinite and flawless as God may be difficult for humans to relate to conceptually, but recognizing your own shortcomings in relation to God's perfection is a starting point.
Engaging in this meditation can help you build humility, help you to avoid being judgmental of others, and to become more aware of and to manage your passions. Doing so can help you to keep "raising the bar" for yourself, so to speak, as you progress on your spiritual journey, and this will provide you with more things to talk to God about.
