Daoists traditionally follow a mostly vegetarian diet in order to minimize harm to other sentient life, where about 70% of your diet will consist of fresh fruits and vegetables. For the other 30%, you can eat poultry (chicken, turkey, etc) or fish and seafood. But make sure to avoid all red and blue meats (including beef and pork).
