The Four Noble Truths are the foundational teachings of Buddhism and provide a framework for understanding the nature of existence, the cause of suffering, and the path to liberation. The four truths are:

* "nirodha": the end of suffering comes from renouncing or letting go of attachment
* "marga": Buddhism's Noble Eightfold Path is the path that can help you let go of attachment and achieve enlightenment
