Offerings to "Nagas" or water spirits involve setting up a nice tray on which are placed:
* A bowl filled with "torma" dough balls, which are made with the three whites (curds, milk, butter) and three sweets (molasses, honey and sugar),
* A pitcher or vase filled with saffron water, and
* A five-colored cloth of silk or cotton as decoration
