Buddhist hand gestures or "mudras" are often used in meditation to influence your physical, mental, and emotional state.

The "dhyanamudra" was used by the Buddha himself, and is meant to increase self-awareness and decrease feelings of anxiety or depression.

To do it, bring both of your hands down to the level of your navel, and rest them facing palms up with your right hand on top. Try to hold this position for a few minutes.
