let them. let them lie. let them twist the truth. let them paint you in ways that aren't real. let them talk and believe what they want. it doesn't define you. you don't owe anyone your side, your feelings or your explanations, especially when they've already decided not to understand. your peace isn't theirs to control. you can stay silent and move forward without carrying their judgments. so don't waste your energy convincing people who aren't ready to listen. let them live in their story while you live in yours. their noise is not your burden.
